SEASON 2 SHOWCASE#2

WE’re home! we kept it clean and simple. opened up the floor to other local performers, collaborated with darkalino’s and enjoyed a night of festivities in pioneer square. Dot joined the team this time around and really opened our eyes to what could be done with space. we gave the stage to talented performers who really brought up the energy an learned many new things about timing and flow of people. squabbled some beef, kicked out some weirdos, kept it a buck and kept it moving. this one was heavy on the logistics. lasT SHOWCASE WE HAD TO FOCUS ON THE SHEER NUMBER OF ARTISTS, THIS TIME IT WAS ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES. POSTERS, STICKERS, DECALS, LIGHTS, HANGING SUPPLIES, CLEANUP, ETC. IT WAS A LOT OF WAITING AROUND ALL DAY FOR AN HOUR OF CHAOS AND THEN MORE WAITING.

HONESTLY, IT SHOWED THE CRACKS IN OUR FOUNDATION BUT ALLOWED US TO BUILD A STRONGER ONE AFTER THE FACT. TAKING A BREAK FOR THE FOLLOWING MONTH ALLOWED US TO SEE WHAT WORKS AND WHAT DIDNT OUTSIDE OF THE SHOWCASE FORMULA. NEW flaws means new solutions.

all and all the marketing rollout had us on the back peddle but the crowds always pull through and show love. so thank you.
